About the College
The architectural college is one of The Natonal Ribat University (NRU) colleges, that has been
established in 2010. The college buildings composed of two main adjacent blocks that located on
the Eastern Part of main campus of the NRU buildings at Burri beside the Blue Nile Street. The
South building composed of: the studios for; first, second and third years, two lecture rooms and
the college library. The North building composed of: the studio labs for; fourth and fifth years,
offices for; staff, administrative and examination, the main lecture room and meeting hall.
Dean’s Message
in the Sudan due to the comprehensive and diversification inventiveness that characterized the
college such as; its unique location, their qualified creative staff and the advance technology and
innovation curriculum programs that provide in the teaching system. The architectural curriculum
program composed of 67 academic subjects that taken in 196 credit hours in ten semesters within
five years. The graduated students after completion the program obtained an honors degree in
Bachelor of Architecture. The college composed of three sections; architecture, planning and
landscaping. The college also gives three years diploma in Fire Fighting Engineering and Safety
and there is study under consideration for high education of Master Degree and establishments
of new engineering colleges.
Vision
Leadership in the architectural sciences, building technology and urban planning in sustainable
manner and to have qualified and creative architects to achieve excellence and sustainable
development for diversification and various communities and optimizing local and national
identifications and improving the general environment.
