About the College
The Graduate School was established pursuant to Article (8 S) of the National University of Rabat Law of 2001, Basic Regulation No. (16) of 2004, issued by the University Council on 24/3/2004.
This great effort was preceded by several steps that began in 2001 with the formation of a committee to develop a graduate studies system on May 28, 2001, by the Director of the National University of Rabat, pursuant to Decision (35) and confirmed by a letter from the Director of Private and Foreign Education at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on 25/9/2002, clarifying the step of establishing a university council for the College of Graduate Studies integrated with the Higher Police Academy under the name of the Police Academy and Graduate Studies by administrative decisions No. (95) for the year 2002 and (96) for the year 2002, and the establishment of graduate studies committees by administrative decisions in the university's colleges and centers, and the establishment of a graduate studies council and the appointment of a supervisor with the rank of professor to chair the graduate studies council.
On 5/3/2003, the University Council issued a decision at its meeting No. (4) to separate the College of Graduate Studies as a stand-alone college and appointed Professor Ahmed Al-Zubair as its dean.
On 18/9/2004, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research gave his approval after interviews and visits by committees from the Private and Foreign Education Administration to the facilities of the National University of Rabat to inspect their readiness for graduate studies and approve the following programs to be the first nucleus of the college at that time:
1- Police Sciences (Higher Diploma – Master's – Doctorate) Implementing Faculty: Police Sciences and Law.
2- Law (Higher Diploma – Master's – Doctorate) Implementing Faculty: Police Sciences and Law.
3- Security Media (Higher Diploma – Master's – Doctorate) Implementing college: Institute of Media Studies, later converted into the College of Media.
4- Criminal Evidence (Higher Diploma – Master’s – Doctorate) Implementing college: Institute of Criminal Evidence Sciences.
The college’s programs have been continuously approved, reaching a total of (129) programs to date.

The Graduate School of Studies and Scientific Research plays a pivotal role in establishing a culture of rigorous scientific research and enhancing postgraduate pathways to keep pace with rapidly evolving knowledge both regionally and internationally, and to respond to national development priorities. Based on the university's vision, we work on building an academic environment that stimulates creativity and innovation, focusing on preparing qualified researchers who possess the tools of the scientific method and are capable of producing original knowledge that contributes to addressing societal issues and challenges.
We at the college believe that scientific research is not a supplementary activity, but rather a fundamental pillar for the renaissance and advancement of nations. From this standpoint, we strive to:

We are also keen on creating an administrative and technical environment that supports researchers and graduate students, by simplifying procedures, providing effective academic guidance, and supporting scientific publication in peer-reviewed journals, which contributes to improving the university's academic ranking and enhancing its scientific presence.
In this context, we call upon our students and researchers to seize the available opportunities and engage in high-quality research projects that are based on originality and precise scientific methodology, aiming to make a real contribution to building a knowledge society.
